Visionaries

I often think about the human condition and how the world is evolving.

The reality is all races despite their beliefs and differences are experiencing immense depletion of basic needs. Loss of jobs, money, homes, food, moral values, ability to properly care for their families, communities and societies. The divide between the rich and the poor has grown exponentially as the middle class has been pushed below the poverty line.

But I believe this can change and this is why. What if there is a group who sees things differently? What is reality, anyway?

You may have heard of the viral debate that took place in 2015 about a photo of a dress that was uploaded on social media. It was viewed millions of times and sparked many discussions. It gained unprecedented momentum.

Some saw the dress as blue and black, others saw it as white and gold. What a huge contrast. It was phenomenal. And yet, people stood by what they saw.

But who was right? Those who saw the dress in person said it was actually blue and black. But was it really?

What if what we see is not really real? There were many who saw the dress as white and gold, despite that in person it was blue and black. The likely cause for the different perceptions was how the brain interpreted the light in the photo causing the colours of the dress to look different depending on the viewer.

This moment in time unlocked a collective awareness on how people physiologically see things and how their perceptions are vastly different.

Now take that example and place it on the photo of the current human condition. Now upload that photo to social media and tell me what happens. Is it not safe to say that a debate would ignite and awareness would unlock? I would take it one step further. We would likely discover that people see things differently.

What if there is a group of people among us who see Earth as a beautiful, infinite reservoir that provides for all, despite that “in person” all races are deeply struggling with basic needs or to make ends meet? What if that group sees things differently because they interpret the light in the photo of the human condition differently? This is powerful. This is vision.

What is fascinating about the dress debate was it had to do with our sight. It was likely beyond our control because we simply saw what we saw, therefore the need to persuade others to “cross the floor,” so to speak, was overridden. In other words, people see what they see and will stand by it.

As I reflect on this, I have decided that people will have different perspectives. That is just how they are wired and that is okay. People have the right to choose.

It is not about convincing the ones who see the world in blue and black. It’s about finding the ones who see the world in white and gold. These are the ones who will change the trajectory for humanity and for the world.

In the dress example, over two-thirds of the viewers saw the dress as white and gold, despite that it was not. What if over two-thirds of the global population see the world in white and gold? This would be truly profound. They would be the restorers. The visionaries.

How do you see the photo of the human condition? My hope is that YOU are one of the restorers. If you are, you hold the vision to restore the human condition and the Earth. You hold the vision that will enable humanity to reach its full potential and this is truly exciting.

The goal is to realize you see things differently, to see who you really are and to be true to yourself.

Some of you will get together in groups with others who see in white and gold. Some will thrive in private and others will choose a hybrid between the two. Whatever is the right path for you, remember to do things with a good heart and with no motive. I believe that following this principle will unlock the rest of your vision. Then when it is time, go paint your vision on the human condition and the world with strokes of white and gold.
