I am Juliet Montes. I was called to the bar in 2011.
I have recently joined Kurzfeld Law as a lawyer. I work in a fast-paced environment both on my files and assisting co-counsel.
In the past, I have participated in trials, argued motions, and participated in conferences, mediations, and arbitrations. I have assisted co-counsel in winning long motions and trials. In 2011, I drafted a precedent setting legal argument that was submitted to Parliament which led to legislative change for foreign national same-sex marriages.
I have argued before all levels of courts including the Court of Appeal for Ontario and Divisional Court. I have also submitted a Charter argument to the Supreme Court of Canada.
